COVER reported its FY2025 actions against defamation and rights violations. Legal action was taken in 149 cases and 1,411 posts were deleted, with disclosure requests, overseas lawsuits, closure of malicious summary sites and police cooperation.

COVER Corporation reported on April 30, 2026 on its work against defamation and other rights violations targeting the company and its talents in fiscal year 2025, covering April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. According to the report, teams for legal countermeasures, stream moderation and inquiry handling worked together, collecting information from fans, talents and employees. Over the year, legal action including lawsuits and criminal cases was taken in 149 cases, and 1,411 posts on X, YouTube and TikTok were removed. Measures included disclosure requests for sender information over malicious posts on social media, anonymous boards and summary sites, reports to platforms for deletion, lawsuits in foreign courts after disclosure, identification of operators of malicious summary sites that repeatedly reposted defamatory content leading to closure of several such sites, and cooperation with police that led to arrests in cases where talent content was misused for monetary gain. For threats to life and safety, the company said it immediately informs police, strengthens patrols and security, and pursues criminal charges for serious cases such as death threats. COVER said protecting the dignity of talents and the safety of employees is a top priority, and it will continue thorough legal action regardless of background or motive. It warned that confirmed violations can lead to high compensation and criminal liability, and asked users to consider the impact before posting.
