KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO announced on September 5, 2026, that it will specialize in the virtual domain and pursue cutting-edge experiences in virtual worlds. Its official website was also renewed the same day.
As part of the shift, KYOKAI STUDIO and UNKNOWN LAB will be newly established as spin-outs from the studio. UNKNOWN LAB will operate as an R&D division for new projects, led by general producer PIEDPIPER.
