Mobile VOCALOID Editor monthly price rises to ¥790 on November 1; annual plan added

Yamaha announced on September 4, 2026 that it will revise Mobile VOCALOID Editor subscription pricing and change the countries and regions where the app can be purchased, effective November 1, 2026.
In Japan, the monthly plan will rise from ¥660 per month including tax through October 31 to ¥790 per month including tax from November 1. A new annual plan, priced at ¥7,980 including tax per year, will launch on the same date. Yamaha says the revision applies only to the editor’s monthly subscription fee; prices for voicebanks sold through in-app purchases will not change.
Sales of Mobile VOCALOID Editor will end on November 1 in Brazil, Israel, Argentina, Nicaragua, Honduras and Montenegro. For questions about voicebanks purchased in a country or region where sales end, Yamaha directs users to App Store Support.
Yamaha cited exchange-rate changes and rising operating costs for the price revision, and said it is unable to provide stable ongoing product support in some regions. Users should check App Store pricing and availability for their region before renewing.
