THE CREATE feat. VOCALOID adds TuneCore as official sponsor and Yokohama City as planning partner

Yamaha has announced two new partners for **THE CREATE feat. VOCALOID**, its program and talent-development project for emerging VOCALOID producers. TuneCore Japan has joined as the project’s official sponsor, while the City of Yokohama is participating in planning cooperation. Yamaha says the main program will be released at a later date and is continuing to seek additional sponsors and supporting organizations. THE CREATE is a Yamaha-produced, music-production-focused program intended to discover and develop the next generation of Vocaloid creators. Its tournament program selects challengers through multiple rounds, with the final winner receiving ¥1,000,000 in activity support, Yamaha’s support toward realizing their goals, and implementation of a song in the Risdom mobile app. The original application period, June 15 through July 31, 2026, has ended. The official project page also states that participants selected for the program must be able to create an original song using VOCALOID. The page lists program judges and supporters including john/TOOBOE, OSTER project, Chinozo, Satsuki, Kusano Kayoko, nejishiki, R Sound Design, Nakiso, irucaice, and Minami no Minami. Yamaha is the producer of the project and the developer of the VOCALOID technology; the announcement does not concern ownership of individual Vocaloid characters or third-party voicebanks.
