Tobari Yogatari VOCALOID Voicebank Project Crowdfunding Begins September 10
Summary
A VOCALOID FAN-ding campaign to create a VOCALOID Voicebank for Tobari Yogatari begins September 10, with a ¥5 million primary target and general sales planned from March 2027.
A crowdfunding campaign to produce a VOCALOID Voicebank for Tobari Yogatari will begin on September 10, 2026, as the next project in Yamaha Corporation’s VOCALOID FAN-ding creator-support program. The CAMPFIRE project page lists October 31, 2026 as the campaign end date.
Tobari Yogatari is a character created through a viewer-participation project by Nikolai Volkov and managed by Race Noah LLC. The character has previously appeared in A.I.VOICE, A.I.VOICE2, NEUTRINO, and VOICEVOX. This campaign seeks to add a VOCALOID Voicebank release.
The primary target is ¥5 million, intended to fund Tobari Yogatari’s VOCALOID adaptation. Stretch goals are set at ¥6 million for a physical package edition of A.I.VOICE2 Tobari Yogatari, ¥7.5 million for one additional demo song using the VOCALOID version, and ¥10 million to pursue a VOCALOID Voicebank for Akatsuki Mitama. The campaign uses an All-in model; part of the support funds will, subject to stated conditions, be distributed to the challenger for future activities.
Rewards include a download or crowdfunding-exclusive package edition of VOCALOID Voicebank Tobari Yogatari, a VOCALOID Editor, and early-access rights. The Editor provided varies by reward tier: the Lite edition is limited to two tracks and standalone operation, while the full edition has no stated functional restrictions. An Editor is required to sing with the Voicebank, and tiers containing the Voicebank include one of the two Editor versions.
A Tokyo event for backers in Plan SS and above is planned for January 2027. Reward delivery and general sales of VOCALOID Voicebank Tobari Yogatari are planned from March 2027 onward. The page names VOCALOID SHOP for download sales and says a standard-design package edition may also be sold. CAMPFIRE backing and reward delivery are limited to people with Japanese addresses.
