VOCALOID6 Editor Ver.6.13.3, VOCALO CHANGER PLUGIN Ver.1.2.3 and Authorizer Ver.1.0.3 fix security issues

Yamaha released simultaneous updates for VOCALOID6 Editor Ver.6.13.3, VOCALO CHANGER PLUGIN Ver.1.2.3 and VOCALOID Authorizer Ver.1.0.3. The announcement was published on the official VOCALOID website on September 17, 2026. For VOCALOID6 Editor, the update implements security measures, including a fix for a vulnerability when loading .vsqx files and a fix for a potential vulnerability in project files (.vpr). It also fixes an issue where changes to Preferences > General > Control Parameters: "Revert to original value when operation ends" were not saved when launched as a VST plug-in. Other bug fixes and stability and performance improvements are included. For VOCALO CHANGER PLUGIN, Ver.1.2.3 fixes security-related issues. For VOCALOID Authorizer, Ver.1.0.3 fixes incorrect font settings in the EULA. VOCALOID Authorizer is the application for authorizing VOCALOID products after installation and deauthorizing them before moving them to another computer. It covers most editor, plug-in and voicebank products except VOCALOID1 and VOCALOID2. The Authorizer is bundled with VOCALOID6 Editor Ver.6.13.3 or later and VOCALO CHANGER PLUGIN Ver.1.2.3 or later, so users already on those versions do not need to install it separately. Yamaha notes that updating to VOCALOID6 Voicebanks V6.3.0 or later requires VOCALOID6 Editor V6.3.0 or later to be installed first. Users should update the Editor before updating Voicebanks. On Apple Silicon Macs, running the VOCALOID AU plug-in or VOCALOID Bridge plug-in (Logic Pro X only) in Logic Pro X or GarageBand requires turning on "Open using Rosetta." Installation: on Mac, mount the downloaded dmg file and run the pkg file; on Windows, extract the downloaded zip file and run the exe file. Updaters and installers are available from the official download pages linked in the announcement. This release follows VOCALOID6 Editor Ver.6.13.2 and continues security hardening and authentication improvements.
