Yamaha: Mobile VOCALOID Editor is not currently supported on iOS 27 / iPadOS 27

Yamaha’s official VOCALOID account posted on September 14, 2026 at 16:10 JST that Mobile VOCALOID Editor is not currently supported on iOS 27 / iPadOS 27. The notice says the VOCALOID development team is verifying the app after the release of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 (written as “iPad27” in the Japanese post). Until that work is finished, those OS versions are outside the current support range. Yamaha asked users to take care and said it will announce again once verification is complete. Mobile VOCALOID Editor is Yamaha’s subscription singing-synthesis editor for iPhone and iPad. The product page lists a requirement of iOS 17 or later. Yamaha did not publish a separate support article for this notice, and it did not name a specific app version or describe what happens if the app is already installed on the new OS. Users who depend on the app should treat iOS 27 / iPadOS 27 as unsupported until Yamaha confirms the result of its verification.
