Yukine Riu V VOCALOID project reaches its ¥3 million first goal

Summary

Yamaha’s VOCALOID FAN-ding campaign to produce the Yukine Riu V Voicebank reached its ¥3 million first goal on August 29, 2026. The campaign remains open through August 30, with general Voicebank sales planned from January 2027 onward.

The Yukine Riu V vocalization project, being run through Yamaha’s crowdfunding-based VOCALOID FAN-ding support service, announced on August 29, 2026 that it had reached its first funding target of ¥3 million. The first target is intended to fund production of a VOCALOID Voicebank for Yukine Riu V. The project is a derivative project led and managed by Oto Suzushiro, the voice provider for A.I.VOICE2 Yukine Riu. The campaign states that it does not alter the name, setting, or guidelines of the original Yukine Riu character. The all-in campaign remains open through August 30, 2026. Its stretch goals are ¥5 million for standing character artwork for distribution, ¥6 million for a 3D model for distribution, and ¥7 million for an illustration contest and merchandise production. A new smiling Yukine Riu V visual was released to mark the first-goal achievement. Eligible supporter tiers include early access to the in-development Voicebank and either the feature-limited VOCALOID Editor Lite or the full VOCALOID Editor, depending on the plan. General sales of the Voicebank are planned from January 2027 onward.
